Beauty, at its roots, is about self-expression and individuality. We believe that everyone is unique and should live that uniqueness every day. Beauty is more than a look, it’s about thinking bigger than the norm, pushing boundaries and being yourself.

The inspiration for Triple Threat came from wanting a cosmetic brand that included darker skin tones more frequently. Time passed and I didn’t give it the effort it deserved. Flash forward to 2019, I had a son and a corporate job that was only giving me an annual salary increase of less than $1K - I had no choice but to create my own income. Makeup has always been a passion of mine and helped me get through postpartum depression. Makeup is a therapeutic, artistic outlet. The name Triple Threat comes from my grandmother's family name “Threat” where I learned everything I know about internal beauty. Triple comes from the fact that I have 2 sisters that don’t look like me - we are 3 different shades. This was an obvious focus for my brand - to be inclusive and incorporate products that everyone can use.
